Freshman State Representative
Dennis M. Reboletti Receives Top Committee Appointments
February 8,
2007
Addison, IL … House
Republican Leader Tom Cross appointed freshman State Representative Dennis
M. Reboletti (R-Elmhurst) to the coveted House Judiciary II – Criminal Law
Committee. Representative Reboletti is the only freshman State
Representative to serve on the committee.
“I am honored to have been chosen as a freshman
legislator to serve on the House Judiciary II – Criminal Law Committee. My
experience serving as a Will County prosecutor will assist me in preparation
for debate on legislation that will be brought before this committee. In
addition, the majority of my legislative priorities will be sent into this
committee including my anti-gang initiatives,” Reboletti said.
In addition to the Judiciary II – Criminal Law
Committee, Representative Reboletti was also appointed to the Juvenile
Justice Reform, Prison Reform, Environment & Energy, Mass Transit,
Transportation & Motor Vehicles and Tollway Oversight Committees.
“My district is a mass transit hub with services
provided thru Metra, PACE, O’Hare Airport and the Tollway. I am very
fortunate to have been appointed to the Mass Transit and Tollway Oversight
Committees.” Reboletti said, “State fiscal constraints will make issues
regarding funding for Metra and PACE and a possible leasing of the Tollway,
top priorities in both of these committees.”
Rep. Reboletti can be contacted at his
district office located at 50 East Oak St, Suite 250, Addison, or by calling
(630) 530-2730.
